FYI: Pandora Mother’s Day Limited Edition Bangles

Hello everyone! It’s nice to get back to blogging once again, I must admit, I have kind of run out of ideas on content, which is one of the reasons why I don’t post regularly anymore. BUUUUT I’m thinking of just doing some more From The Box series, where I used to showcase older Pandora pieces, and my guest blogger spots are still open! That is where I have a guest post an article that is related to jewelry in some way, it was a lot of fun when Jiji did it, if there is something you would like to talk about, either comment down below, or send me a message through Facebook or Instagram.

Anyway, last year I  created two blog posts chronicling Pandora’s Limited Edition Black Friday charms and bangles. I wanted to create some reference pages in case anyone wanted to see how the charms have evolved,  and with the help from Cindy Lo I was able to do that. She was able to give me all the info that I needed on which bangle was released which year and in her enthusiasm, she also helped me with the Mother’s Day limited edition bangles! So listed below are the bangles and the years these bracelets came out!

Mother’s Day 2014

Here is the very first Mother’s Day LE bangle that came out back in 2014. You can see the extreme similarities between this one and the very first Black Friday LE bangle that came out later that year, (check out that post here). It may be a bit hard to see but the heart is a very light pink cubic zirconia, similar to the Love Of My Life clip. For some reason I wasn’t tempted by this bangle so I skipped it.

Mother’s Day 2015

This one I think is one of my favorites!! No wonder it’s the only one I own! I really liked this one because of the engraving on it, I dare say it might have been one of the first to have an engraving on it, I haven’t really done the research but if I’m wrong, please don’t hesitate to correct me in the comments! At a certain point it gets very hard to remember everything!! I also really liked this bangle because the engraving can mean more than a mother’s love for their child or vice versa, I read it and it can mean that my furbaby is always in my heart or my dear husband or my family, etc. It’s not just meant between mom and child.  This is also one of my favorites because it came with a pendant/charm and a really nice gift box! I made a very detailed review on this back when it first came out, you can read it here if you like.

Mother’s Day 2016

This one did not catch my attention as much, I’m not sure why, the collector in me wanted to buy all of the LE’s that came out, but I’m glad I was starting to get wiser with my money and did not purchase this one. Not shown because it’s hard to get good pictures from all angles is the engraving “Family Is Forever” on the outside of the bangle.

Mother’s Day 2017

The 2018 bangle I think was my least favorite of them all (Sorry if you love it! Please don’t hate me!) I just don’t care for the white enamel. There are actually a few charms with white enamel that I wish I could get, but after seeing pictures of how it turns out (yellowed) I’m happy I passed on them. If you own this bangle, has it been able to stand the test of time? Is it still nice and clean or has it turned? This bangle also has the engraving “You Are So Loved,” which is such a sweet sentiment. I do have to confess I’m a sucker for some of these engravings.

Mother’s Day 2018

This one I actually liked a lot, the pretty scroll work on the clasp is right up my alley!!! I actually got my hands on two of these, but I ended up selling them as I did not have any use for more bangles! I know, I kind of regret that decision now, but at some point I felt like it was too much, and I have so much Pandora now that it just sits in my box not doing anything. If I ever come across one that is in good shape, maybe I’ll rebuy! I also like that this is the first design where Pandora did not use a heart motif for their bangle.

Mother’s Day 2019

This bangle I have no feelings good or bad LOL. I think it’s cool that they put the engraving on the clasp instead of on the actual bangle, and I agree that each mother is one in a million, but I think the engraving again can go another way, like not just apply it to motherhood, but to a girlfriend or a wife as well. Did you gift this to your mom or get it for yourself? What are your thoughts on this bangle?

Mother’s Day 2020

And now we come to the 2020 bangle, which again I have no feelings positive or negative on. Pandora came back with their heart shaped theme and the engraving on the heart is classy and discreet, but I don’t much care for the infinity sign dangle. I’ve never been big on infinity signs, I think I only have one in an X Link, I think it’s because it reminds me of the number 8 LOL!  I don’t think this one was a big favorite  as we were all in lockdown and a lot of us were unable to get together with our family to see our moms.

Mother’s Day 2021

I don’t think the Mother’s Day LE bangle has been unveiled yet, and so that’s why we have a big question mark. I don’t have my hopes up too much as in the past I’ve liked them less and less or they just don’t impress me.  And I’m probably going to get some slack for this but pardon my saying, Pandora has tended to recycling their older designs lately. Not saying this will happen here, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it did! Maybe they will do something different this year like they did with the 2020 Black Friday bangle and make it an open bangle? Has anyone seen this years Mother’s day bangle yet?

And there you have all the Mother’s Day Limited Edition bangles!! Thanks again to Cindy Lo for your help! You made it so much easier!! It will be fun to keep adding to this list as the years progress. I hope this page will prove a good resource in case anyone is wondering what past designs looked like.

I didn’t realised I was only missing 1 2014. I like the engraved ones, so was disappointed when they stopped doing that a few years ago, but I quiet like most of them ☺

That’s so nice that you have almost all of them!! I regret selling the 2018 that I had lol. This years bangle has little wings around the heart, are you planning on getting it as well?

    Hi Jahndra!

I totally agree that the 2015 bangle was the BESTTT!! I was so lucky I started my collection that year and took part in the promo! BUTTT I regretted not having extras of it, the bangle is really pretty and I like the engraving a lot! The 2018 bangle is my 2nd favourite, it’s pattern is really unique and vintagey

As for my personal least favourite it’s gotta be the 2019 bangle. It just felt to me like they ran out of ideas and decided to just rush out a random design. But being a hoarder I had to have it either way so I still went ahead with getting it!

This year’s bangle reminds me of the Harry Potter bangle which is quite cute meaning I’m gonna have to get it again hahahaha bad news for me! (To be honest I’m getting it no matter what they come up with XD cause I want to complete my collection of all LE Bangles released)

Thank you for your hard work in putting this post together and I look forward to your yearly update on this! XD

I think you are very correct on this year’s Mother’s Day bangle resembling the Harry Potter, and it is a very cute design!! I love it and would get it if it weren’t for my fear of the wings catching on clothing or other items. With my luck, it would happen to me and i would ruin both clothing and the bracelet!

I also have the heart of a collector, I would love to get every LE item that has ever been released, and how I wish I had a million dollars so I could!!

If I ever run into difficulty again with LE collectibles I know who to come to !! Thanks again!

I like this type of posts, very intresting to see how design changes over the years. I wanted bangle from 2018, but it was not available in my country.

Thanks!! Me too, this is what blogging is all about right? I agree with you, it’s very interesting to see how the designs have evolved, and even though I’m a bit hard on them when it comes to designing jewelry, I imagine it’s hard to keep reinventing the wheel every year. I do regret a little not keeping one of the 2018 bangles I got my hands on, but it’s ok, in the long run I probably would not have worn it very much like the rest of the jewelry I just have sitting in my jewelry box. Have you tried looking for the bracelet on Ebay?
