FYI: Is A Certain Company Bringing Back Their Essence Collection??

Hello everyone!! I’m back!!! And I’m back with some news! Honestly I can’t believe I’m blogging again about this company since I’m pretty much done with them, BUT this news was way too juicy to pass up so here I am back at it again.

I think I given my blog enough of a rest, and I’m referring to the fact that I had to kind of turn it off because some scammers were using my blog as a landing page, let me briefly explain: these scammers were either selling fake P and then directing these buyers to my blog or they were asking for some sort of weird subscription service, taking their money and then directing them to my blog in which case I was starting to get many DM’s with confused people asking to buy a certain bracelet or asking for a refund. It was a whole mess, so I hope I don’t have to go through that again.

Anyway back to our news…thanks to the lovely Marikaisa on IG, she alerted me to some goings on on the Dutch P website…she told me they had brough back Essence and I was like WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!?!?!?!? So of course I “ran” over to their website as quick as I could and let me tell you, the mix of disappointment and excitment was weird to say the least!! This company has brought back this old jewelry line, but they kind of did what they did with the Me line, they completely revamped it!! Here are some screen grabs:

I haven’t really checked out this line yet as I’m thinking of making one of my first impression videos on it, but just at first glance a lot of these remind me of the older vintage Liquid silver line, especially with the bracelets and the rings. I had to use google translate in order to kind of understand what was going on, so you are welcome to check out the page yourself here, let me know what you think! Also Marikaisa told me the gold pieces are plated.

I honestly don’t like that they called it Essence again, for me it will cause confusion, if someone is trying to google an old Essence charm because they are looking for a preloved piece or just want some basic history on it, they will instead get flooded with the newer version of the collection. Like Marikaisa said, at least called it Essence 2.0 or something. In my opinion, they should’ve called it Flow, since to me a lot of the pieces flow together and look very elegant. Also I have no idea if this line will be released anywhere else in the world, can some of my international friends check out their regional website and let me know? I would love to see in what other countries this is already released in.

So that’s it guys, not much more to share, like I said before, I am shocked that I am blogging again about this company, never thought in a million years that I would be still hehehe, I guess never say never right? Let me know your thoughts below!

I saw that this morning. It reminds me of the old liquid silver as well as some of the Paloma Picasso items at Tiffany. The bean came to mind. Lol!

    Looking forward to learning more!

OOH I did see some bean shaped items LOL, where did you see this if you don’t mind me asking? Because I checked our regional website and didn’t see anything.

I agree the company could have come up with a new original name, instead of recycling the Essence name. When I saw the name Essence, I became excited too. Then I saw it wasn’t the OG Essence.

Maybe it will launch in the U.S. for pre autumn. There’s a ring and necklace I like if they come in silver. I’m not interested in 14k plated.

Yea definitely yea to everything you said from the name to hopefully it becoming the pre autumn release which cracks me up because it seems it gives them a break from having to release new charms lol.

Hahaha yes it’s definitely giving huge Tiffany vibes!!! And I realize that Tiffany perhaps doesn’t have the market cornered on certain design elements but come on, like Deborah mentioned above, this has Elsa Peretti written all over it!!

I was excited by the news title, but disappointed now 😆. Not Essence at all. A brand new name would be more adequate 😅
I see no news about this in the German website, but may be they launch this after the sale.

Heehee I’m sorry I click baited you, but honestly this is how I felt too when I clicked on the link. They really should’ve called it something else!! I wonder then if Europe will eventually get it or just certain countries.

When I got the email from P (I’m Dutch) with the title: New Essence, I was very excited.
To be very disappointed when I opened it. Then I got some of the excitement back when the silver liquid bangle caught my eye. When the original silver liquid bangle came out, I really loved that one. Unfortunately my hands aren’t slim enough to fit most solid bangles. So this beautiful bangle became ‘the one that got away’.
Although the bangle looked like it was a solid one, I still had some hope and inspected the picture like a hawk. Unfortunately, they recycled not only the name. They didn’t enhance the previous design, to let it fit more people.
So this would be ‘the one without the clasp, again’.
    Oh well…
