Hello and welcome to my first blog post in what seems like months!! I have to once again apologize for not being very present here on the blog. There doesn’t seem to be that much relevant news and so there’s not much to report. I don’t think I’ve ever completely skipped a whole month before, but I did skip October. Again, nothing relevant to report and I’ve been too busy.
Also, first time since the beginning of this blog where I wasn’t able to keep up with the Pandora retiring list. From your comments I know you all understand the work that it takes for me to search for the retired item, download the image and upload it, etc, etc, etc, but I do feel disappointed in myself that I wasn’t able to stay on top of it. Now it’s November and I still have the list of the retiring items from last year that just never made it on the list. I’m still hoping to be able to finish it but that’s a bit delusional of me LOL. It’ll be Christmas soon and 2020 and that will come up with it’s own list of retiring items. I think for continuity’s sake I will still finish it because my OCD won’t let me create a 2020 list without finishing the 2019 one.
But onto the little bit of news I came across today when I went to go visit my local Pandora store, (by the way, I went in order to take advantage of the Friends and Family event, did you participate?). I will put this little disclaimer as again Pandora has been known to change things up last minute sometimes, and I don’t have the full details, please take this with a grain of salt: but as of now what I do know is the Black Friday sale at Pandora will be 35% off across the board, 35% off the entire store (with the exception of Pandora Me). I don’t know if this will be in store only, or if it will also be online. I don’t know if there will be a time limit, I believe previous sales were 35% from 6am to 10am, then the discount went down to 25% for the rest of the day. Once I know more, I will either update this blog post and/or create a new one!
What do we think of this sale? I think it’s an ok sale. Being used to the Buy More Save Mores from previous years, it’s a bit hard to just be conformed with 35% off but hey it’s still a discount right? There will also be a bangle event scheduled for the 12th of December I also believe but that’s all I know about that too. I have no idea what the bangle looks like or what the deal is. I’m sure other bloggers will get to this news before me LOL. I always get my news secondhand unfortunately. I’m actually surprised that they are pushing the LE bangle until December. Usually the LE bangle is scheduled to be released on Black Friday, along with the Black Friday Charm but who knows what’s going on this year. Like I said before, once I know more I will let you all know!
I’m starting to stress out about Thanksgiving since this will be my third or fourth time hosting, both my family and my in-laws converge onto our house to celebrate so it now falls to me to cook and be hostess! I will most likely post again right before Thanksgiving, so everyone else celebrating Thanksgiving, what are your holiday traditions? What foods do you cook for this holiday? Let me know in the comments below!

For the LE bangle what my SA told me is that it would be a GWP with a buy of $125 and it’s a star clasp bangle…the picture she showed me was very grainy but from the photos floating around of the new pieces looks like it might be the mesh bangle with the star clasp.
Oh man that sucks. I’m not interested in the mesh bangle but love the star clasp. I’m conflicted!!! Thanks for the info!!!

Not sure if I will be getting the bangle in the December promo. I heard it was the Mesh bangle too and I’m not crazy about the mesh.

The only Pandora news I read about was that their 3rd quarter was bad, no sales (especially here in the US so I guess we are holding onto our money!) and the unrest in Hong Kong – apparently they closed some stores so their sales staff stayed safe. If anyone is interested just do a google search. I will say I am very disappointed that other countries had some sale and we had nothing. I can wait for the charms to hit Rue at this point. I will probably get somethings on black Friday, if the sale is online. I did not participate in friends and family – didn’t know about it, plus I mostly order online (was it in store only?). I feel like this is when JcPenney ended their coupons and the sh*t hit the fan! Guess what they brought them back! I get them cutting back on sales to a point. If I were in charge – buy more save – spring, fall and after the holidays. A little something in summer and black Friday.
In December I am going to the Pandora outlet in Atlantic City! I have never been and am very excited! Getting a list together #1 olive green Muranos after that any Disney I do not have and anything that catches my eye! I am so thankful to all of you who have blogs & instagram accounts so I can get ideas for what I missed out on.
Your turkey day sounds busy! We go up to my parents – I am in charge of desserts. My grandmother and my sister’s family join us. I get the latest (but not the last😃 ) Xmas list from my nieces & nephews which includes every Lego and toy Target offers! So it is fun.

Hi! Yes, so sorry for the small hiatus, it’s one of those things where I feel I’ve been very busy but when I look back and think why was I so busy I can’t answer myself LOL! And it’s just going to get worse with the holidays coming up! That’s crazy about the Hong Kong stores, but with the news and all of course I’m not surprised.
And I know what you mean with Rue, I’m almost tempted as well to just wait for them to appear on Rue because it hurts to pay full price now. I still will for pieces I REALLY want, but I’m almost willing to wait too now. There aren’t much charms I want anymore honestly.
So happy you get to go to an outlet! Be wary though, I’ve dealt with the outlet in Atlantic city, not the friendliest bunch LOL.
On thanksgiving we usually exchange wish lists with my in laws, we do it through elfster so it’s easier, and with my parents we draw up names and pick one from a hat, this year it was from a frying pan because we didnt’ have any other container to use LOL and they will be traveling so will be leaving right after thanksgiving and they need some time before thanksgiving to start shopping.
My little one is doing very well right now, thank you so much for asking. She is on medication to help with weewee accidents, the vet doesn’t know if her little accidents are whether she’s just getting older, or if it’s because of her condition, so we decided to stop giving her her morning dose and see how she does. If no accidents then it’s related to her other condition, if she has accident’s then it’s because of her age. I’ll be putting a diaper on her during the day to see if she’s had any accidents. We just started that today so wish us luck!!

I will make sure I get one or two of the new Frozen charms and the Lion King bangle for Black Friday. I really don’t want to hunt those down when they retire. The rest of Disney I just might take a chance….
I just re read your post and they are holding out on their Xmas bangle until the 12th? That is crazy! Whether you order online or buy it in a store either way a UPS/FedEx truck is involved and I can’t imagine it arriving in time to the store or your home. I wish CEOs would have to go out and “shop” their product like the rest of us. Have them go out a try and find this in stores right before Xmas on top of everything else the rest of us have to do for the holidays. Plus another headache for the sales person – glad I am no longer in retail!
I read that about both the AC & Rehoboth outlets – hit or miss with the sales staff. That is alright – I am at the point where I go into experiences not expecting anything and if it turns out great I consider myself lucky!

Thanks for the heads up on the Black Friday discount. Not sure I want anything from Pandora this Christmas though. I only like 1 charm in the winter collection. I think I may go with Trollbeads again this year, they usually have a good deal on black Friday. Last year on line they had 30% off certain charms, as well as a free bracelet with purchase of a clasp. Im going to check out some of the other charm brands on black friday too, like Aurora and OHM, to see what deals they may have.
I am also hoping that trollbeads will have an excellent sale again. Last year they had several pretty good ones! I hope so because sadly my Trollbeads collection has been a bit neglected lately. I haven’t worn them and I haaven’t added to my collection in a year! So black friday will be a perfect time to see what they got going on!

Also tje new ornament they came out with I wonder if that’s the gift with purchase? I am excited about the 35 percent off on black Friday I will be making some purchases for Christmas presents. I posted some photos of the limited edition holiday bangle on my Instagram feed if you want to check it out there. I also plan on making a small blog post on my thoughts on the bangle (maybe if time allows!). The black friday charm is a dangle blue ornament one. I’m not too crazy about it since it’s blue and wont’ match my other black friday charms, so I’m on the fence on it. WIll be a shame if I don’t buy it. I think it will come with the new Christmas ornament, which I’m also not too crazy about. It’s cute and all but you can see the cheap plastic on it. Such a shame Pandora didn’t make another ceramic one. I don’t know what they are thinking.
Hi there! Welcome back. I will be participating in the Black Friday sale both for myself and for other people’s presents. It is my understanding the Preferred Card holders will get to shop early.
I agree with you that Pandora didn’t do themselves any favors by having so many sales to reduce inventory in previous years. And discontinuing things so quickly. We all started waiting for sales and for others to hit Rue La La. We were spoiled, and now we don’t want to pay full price.
So since I didn’t want to pay full price, my wish list is pretty long. I’ll prioritize and pick up some items for me while I’m Santa shopping. I haven’t seen the LE bracelet so I can’t speak to whether I’ll be getting it, but I do like the Christmas ornament this year.
I’ve been hosting a big Thanksgiving Day for way more years than I’m going to admit to (think decades) so I’ll offer a bit of advice. Bake ahead or use a bakery. Prep everything you can the day before and set the table. I bake Tuesday, prep Wednesday, and turkey Thursday. Thinks go wrong of course, but go with the flow and have fun!! Happy Thanksgiving!

Oh thank you for the advice! I plan to order my groceries probably Sunday night to pick up on Monday, and yes start to prep and cook early! I’m just trying to figure out what to cook when LOL!
Welcome back! Thanks for the heads up. I love the holidays and everything that comes with it. Mostly the sales and shopping. I have made my lists for certain stores and a game plan…lol. I already know I want the bangle…lol. My Pandora list is so big and never ending.
I have been hosting for the past 9 years and it has gotten easier and the crowd has gotten smaller which is helpful. The only thing I am doing different is adding Craisins and/or apples to the dressing/stuffing…yum!! Happy Holidays!
P.S. Pandora stores are still holding the extra percent of last call items from time to time. One just ended yesterday. And of course, I participated. Can’t wait for what the outlet has planned!
Thank you! I don’t really have a game plan for shopping. I usually don’t do any of the black friday sales unless it’s Pandora, Trollbeads, or X Jewellery. Or maybe Best Buy if we are in need for any gadgets or techie things. I usually do all my shopping on Amazon now! Back in the pre-amazon days, my hubby and I would play hookie from work together and spend the whole day at the mall doing our shopping for friends and family. Now it’s all digital which is super convenient but I miss those days lol.
I’ve only been hosting for the last two years, I think this will be my third or fourth, and I’m not really looking forward to it because my family and in laws are super different, but oh well LOL.
I also agree, my list never gets short, I need to start prioritizing more!! I’m hoping the outlets will have a super sale!

From what I know the black friday promo is as follows: the two days before thanksgiving will be 25% off entire store, excluding Pandora Me and Harry Potter. Thanksgiving day and Black Friday will be 35% off entire store, again excluding Pandora Me and Harry Potter. And the weekend after Black Friday the sale goes back to 25% off. If you happen to have the Pandora credit card, you will be able to shop a whole week early, i.e. now I think to take advantage of the 35% off sale! What do you think of the promo?
I can’t wait because I have never received a gift yet. I don’t really mind it being a mesh bangle, I have one already and I find it stays glittery, it’s also more comfortable. The rigid bangles get in my way.
Just hope they don’t run out, because I want one! Wish we could view it properly before though and Pandora did international deliveries!
Really? I figured because the mesh is textured that it will get dirty quicker and therefore will be harder to clean, that is the reason why I’ve always avoided it. Have you seen the bangle on my IG feed? It’s there if you want to check it out.

Yes I hardly wash my mesh bracelet but my snake chain I’ve had to wash often. I think it’s because it sparkles , you can’t see if it’s darkened or not. I love that it is flexible and not so rigid like the normal bangle. But I do like the bangle too, I just can’t wear it everyday feels uncomfortable comparing to the mesh. I have even slept with the mesh for 6 months already. I wont sleep with it anymore though. I’m afraid it might snap at the clasp if I sleep on top of it. 😃. No more sleeping with the mesh 🤣

Hello, My friend who is friends with someone at the Pandora store said that the stores are only getting 2 – 3 Black Friday charms per store. Can anyone confirmed this?
I was at my store earlier this week and was told they got at least 50 in, so not sure what to think of some stores only receiving 2-3 charms. I actually feel like 50 is kind of a low number LOL.
