Today’s post brings the second part of the retirement wave that I was able to get my hands on back in October (thus the title of this post because I found out about the list in October). Like my past post, I separated the list, one with just charms and the other list with everything else such as earrings, rings, pendants, etc. Here is the gallery of the discontinued items:

Once again I’m surprised to see both the Shimmering Lace and Vintage Allure collection leaving Pandora. I liked the Shimmering Lace ring because it was the first time Pandora stepped out of their overly cutesy designs and into more mature and sophisticated realms at least in my opinion. Same goes for the Vintage Allure collection, I liked both rings from these two releases but was unable to afford them. I think I liked the idea of them more than actually owning them, it’s one of those things that if I had all the money in the world I would probably get them, but since I don’t I rather spend my money on other things instead.
What to you think about these discontinued items? Does this push you to buy that one item that you’ve had your eye on for awhile?

Wow, the New Beginnings ring already? I am amazed! It’s so pretty, and so new. Hopefully I’ll be able to get hold of it a little cheaper though. The Vintage Allure pieces have been retired for a while here in the UK however.
Which one is the New Beginnings? Sometimes there are different names for the same pieces. Also I didn’t know the Vintage Allures were already gone over there, it’s amazing how fast some of these pieces are being pulled, I always assumed that the newer pieces were excluded from being retired but I guess not!
The spring 2015 butterfly ring 🙂 it’s called that in the US as well! I just think it’s so pretty, I am so surprised it’s going. They are definitely a lot more ruthless these days about what they retire. 🙁
Agreed! I didn’t like the butterfly for myself but I liked the design. It was nice for Pandora to try new things at least for a little while.
Be honest, Pandora ring is not worth to buy. It not sparkling when you wear outside their shop. I am not a ring person, my friend told me that the ring is not sparkling if not inside Pandora shop. This is true, a ring is a important piece on the hand, if not sparkling why should put on?
That’s a shame! I think that holds true for most paves, they get dirty fast.
I have the sterling silver rings, and I like them, but I kinda regret them now. Not because they’re not sparkly enough, but because I like stacking different looking silver rings, and they don’t have new designs anymore.
Yes! We have to be a smart consumer not brand blind for anything Pandora offer is good.
