FYI: News Alert on Pandora’s September Bracelet Event

imageUPDATE 8/26/2015: As of today, what I have heard about the upcoming Charm event, is that you can spend $100 and receive a free charm UP TO $65 value, meaning it can’t go past $65, no upgrades will be allowed, so if you want a $70 charm, you should make it part of your $100 purchase. Also it’s not necessarily one transaction per customer, you can spend $200 and receive two free charms. I also heard that stores will have a list of predetermined charms that customers can pick from. If there are any other updates I will update this post again. This I heard from my local concept store, which are franchises, this means that the information I provide may vary between franchised stores. I suggest you call your local store to see if there are any differences from the information I’m providing and your local concept store.

Today I want to alert my readers to a tidbit of information that I have just heard through the grapevine. Pandora has decided to change things up for the annual September bracelet event and that is that it will not be a bracelet event at all.

The news is unconfirmed at the moment, but the rumor is that the event will be a charm event, and it will be spend $100 and get a $65 charm. Now I don’t know if customers will be able to pick from a $65 tray of predetermined charms or if it’s a credit towards more than one charm of your choice, or if you can apply that credit and upgrade to a more expensive charm.

This is monumental as Pandora will break with tradition and not offer the fall bracelet promotion this year. It’s pretty incredible because this has never happened and I wonder how the first charm event will do.

I would suggest that in case this is true and there will be no bracelet event in September, that you take advantage of the upcoming leather event starting on June 6th. My local store will be allowing upgrades to a sterling silver bracelet, I would call your local concept store to ask for details.

What do you think of this new turn of events? Do you like or dislike this news? Will you be participating?
