Just wanted to start this post with an apology as I’ve been MIA for awhile now. If you saw my last haul video you would’ve heard how sick I sounded and believe me I was sick. I don’t know how I was functioning but I have to say it was the worst flu I’ve ever had in my life! Usually a flu will take you down for two weeks, here I am now going on week three and although I am no longer bed ridden I am still not at 100% but I am much better, so apologies for not posting consistently for the last two weeks. I am back now and hopefully life will allow me to get on with it!
Today I want to talk about my latest addition to my Essence bracelet, and that is the Joy bead. I had been wanting this bead for awhile, and I’m glad that my Essence collection is slowly growing. There’s still so many beads I want! From other blogs I heard that Essence may be retired from North America but one of the managers I spoke to from my local concept store stated that they plan on receiving the new Essence collection after all, I don’t know if that will be released with the Winter collection or some time next year, but hopefully it will be released because if they don’t I”ll be placing an order with an Australian friend!
This bead has a special meaning to me, I usually don’t buy the beads based on their meaning, I just get them because I like them, but because of my family’s recent loss, this bead has taken a whole new meaning for me. It is to lead a joyful life, to enjoy every moment of it because you never know what can happen.
I also like the whimsical aspect of it, it’s like little polka dots of cubic zirconia all around the bead. It adds enough sparkle without it being too much.
And here are all of my Essence beads, I think I need to add more color!
That’s all for today, Pandora concept stores are having their pre-sale right now in preparation for the upcoming charm promo, I don’t think I’ll be participating this time, for some reason it just doesn’t appeal to me, I may instead do the X Jewellery buy a lock and get 18 free links, or do the buy three get the fourth free or maybe do Trollbeads again, I’m not sure. I’ve never really liked the x brand, just never appealed to me. That said I enjoy your videos. Gives me a chance to live vicariously through someone else’s shopping! Whatever promotion or general shopping you decide to do enjoy it 😀

I started collect Pandora Moment bracelet since March, have 2 heart clasp, 1 oxidized, 2 rose gold bracelet clasp for FREE or add $ for upgrade and 1 LE paved heart bangle with I cz heart dangle come with a beautiful 3 tier travel round gift box. I just put 3 charms between the 2 clips so that I don’t need ton of charms. I only buy during promotion or from outlet store in Toronto. I returned my Essence bracelet, I don’t like the bead is small and have the inside stopper. Semi precious bead is $50 to 60 each, some of them is not real. I always want a semi precious stone bead bracelet, Trollbead is expensive, I don’t want to jump into it. Thomas Sabo bead is all made in Germany, I just got 2 FREE bracelet from spend $125 to get one. Their semi precious stone is real stone, very reasonable $25.5 each, silver bead is $32 or $38. Now I have my first semi precious stone bracelet, very happy for my choice. The bracelet is very comfortable on wrist, you will like it. I like Thomas Sabo KARMA bracelet much more than Pandora Essence. We have 6 concept stores in Toronto, I like to buy jewelry in person.

Thomas Sabo sounds really good the way you are talking about it, I might have to check it out, sounds like better quality and more affordable! And yes pandora keeps using synthetic materials instead of real gemstone, what a pity too they used to use real quality materials for their jewelry now they just use cubic zirconia for everything.
I know you will like Thomas Sabo Karma bead, they are very different to Essence. Thomas Sabo has expensive bead but I just pick the reasonable price one. Karma bead can go up to $129 each, but you can use the bead to wear as earring or on necklace and you can add a carrier to put different charm on, a lot of fun! We have 6 concept stores in Toronto now. I collect different brand bracelet, Link of London, Tous, Trollbead but only one each and that is it. I will collect more Karma bead when they have promotion again. We miss their beautiful LE Valentine day bracelet U.S. $79 with one big size rose quartz heart shape bead, please take a look for such a lovely bead.

Hurry! The spend Can $125 to get the free Karma bracelet will end this Sunday. In U.S. I think is $100 only. I will keep the oxidized bracelet with the darker color semi precious stone which is beautiful. I just went to the shop to put the rose quartz, white jade, silver heart, silver wrapping a rose quartz inside bead ( clover look ) to get some idea. I might get this before the end of the week. I will let you know my final decision.

I like to wear the 2 rose gold bracelets together without any charms and one pair of rose gold Light as a Feather matching earrings. I love earrings the most, then simple matching bracelet. Not a ring or necklace person.
This will be my only Pandora rose gold collection for fun. Pandora rose is not my favourite.
I used to be a ring person, I still am but now I’m into bracelets more 🙂 not into earrings too much though.
