So today I was able to finally make it down to my local concept store because I’ve been seeing on Instagram that some Pandora stores had already received the new Winter collection and I was not disappointed! I was able to snap a couple of pictures very quickly, so I apologize if these live images are not the best. I decided to first review the Dainty Bow safety chain, the Dainty Bow clip, the Heart and Bow charm and the Shimmering Sentiments charm.
First Impression:
Upon seeing the online images of these charms I wasn’t too terribly excited for them. I like bows but the clip and the safety chain didn’t to it for me, the Heart and Bow Charm seemed kind of large, even clunky, and the only charm I kind of liked was the Shimmering Sentiments.
Review:
Upon closer inspection of the Dainty Bow safety chain, I realized that it was a twist-on safety chain and not a clip-on like I had assumed. I guess that assumption comes from the fact that they also released the clip with the same name and just the shape of the safety chain ends made me think this was a clip-on safety chain. I also have to say there is nothing dainty about this safety chain LOL. It’s rather heavy which can be a good or bad thing depending on how heavy your bracelet is already. It’s nice that Pandora has finally released some new safety chains, but I’m very confused why they made this one a twist-on. This safety chain retails for $65.
Now we come to the Dainty Bow clip. There’s not much to say here, it’s very similar to other round shaped clips such as the Twinkle Twinkle or the Love of my Life clips. I almost wish they had added some colored enamel to make the bow stand out more because as it is, you can’t really tell what’s on the clip. This clip retails for $50.
As for the Heart and Bow charm, it is my least favorite, although I do have to say it is well made and also I’m very wishy washy, I tend to not like something at first glance and then it eventually grows on me. I can see this happening with this charm. It is very well made, a good hunk of silver. I almost wish it didn’t have the heart dangle, although this will help keep the charm upright.
While taking this shot, I wished the bow was more like a bow in real life, meaning I wish it had open spaces like a real bow has, and not filled with silver. The negative space would’ve added a more realistic dimension to this charm. This charm has a hefty price tag at $85, a bit much but it is a heavier charm.
And last but not least is my favorite from the bow series, the Shimmering Sentiments charm. I was not able to take pictures of the pink enamel version which is called Sweet Sentiments because I’m not sure if it’s a country exclusive or if my store just didn’t get it in. (Thanks Michele for clarifying that the pink version of this charm is a shop in shop and therefore not available at concept stores). For some reason when it comes to my local store, it will get about 95% of the new releases, but almost never the entire collection all at once. This charm is the one they should’ve called dainty, with it’s open work frame, the negative spaces make the bow the focal points. I also prefer this one over it’s pink counterpart, I like pink, but not baby pink. I think Pandora over does pink and I’m kind of sick of it LOL. The Shimmering Sentiments retails for $65.
In Conclusion:
I don’t see myself really buying any of these charms, but that doesn’t mean they are not cute, and that maybe eventually I might not change my mind 😉 It’s also great that Pandora has finally added some safety chains to their dwindling stock. They seem to be retiring faster than they add. I think my overall favorite from this review is the Shimmering Sentiments, I like open worked charms and with the extra sparkle it would do well on my bracelet if I ever chose to buy it.
That’s it for now, which charms do you like from this review? Please stay tuned for more upcoming Pandora Winter 2015 reviews, this is only the tip of the iceberg!

The Dainty Bow clip and safety chain will definitely be coming home with me! 😉 I find the Heart & Bow a bit too full-on sparkly, though. Thanks for the pics and review!
The safety chain is very well made, a sturdy piece for sure! The Heart and Bow is sparkly, could make a good focal point on a bracelet is someone liked it, I don’t think it’s for me either lol.
Same feeling, I don’t like the Dainty Bow clip and safety chain, boring! The pink version of Sentiment is only carried by shop in shop not concept store. I saw the whole winter release already, I like the Two toned Devine Angel and a Family Hertiage ( total Can $150 in order to get the free Dainty Bow Bangle ).
Thanks for clarifying that! Now I know and will edit this post to reflect this information about the Sweet Sentiments. I also like the Divine Angel, love that the crown is gold.
The Family Hertiage is 2 toned with cz on which is special. I can’t think of any charm is 2 toned with cz yet.
I like it, it would work on a bracelet I’m working on too, but for this specific bracelet I don’t want any dangles.
