Today I want to showcase my second completed Trollbeads bracelet, I call it my white bracelet. I guess I could always change out the white and clear beads for different colored beads but I tend to keep my beads in place, I’m too lazy to switch them out. The other bracelet I’m currently working on, the green one I plan to switch out. As I look and marvel at other people’s creations though, I notice that I stay very monochromatic, I tend to stick to one color and that’s it, I envy all others that know how to use color better than me, these bracelets are so beautiful and I think they use their Trollbeads like they are supposed to. I think I work better in themes rather than color, so that is why I think I have more difficulty expanding my mind when it comes to Trollbeads.
When designing my Trollbeads bracelets, I tend to use patterns rather than themes, I also tend to use more silver beads rather than glass, I think because I started out with Pandora, and they unfortunately can’t hold a candle to Trollbeads glass. So I use themes with Pandora and patterns with Trollbeads LOL. I plan to one day make a whole Trollbeads bracelet with mostly glass and only a couple of silvers in it.
Anyway, sorry for that unintentional side bar, getting back to this white bracelet, I actually don’t even care for white beads, I do however love clear beads, but once again while visiting my nearest Trollbeads dealer and checking out all of their beads just to browse, I started to really like the way they looked. I think my favorites are the White Stripes, the Faceted Milky Quartz and the White Diamond bead.
The last bead to complete this bracelet was the Smiling Cylinders, it took forever for me to get it, and I finally did at an awesome price. Also this is the tightest bracelet I have, meaning it has the most beads on it, I almost feel like the chain won’t be strong enough to hold everything together, but I know it will. This is also the reason why I placed the Winds of Change lock on it, because I feel like it’s a bit sturdier than the other locks.
Lately when choosing which bracelet to wear, this is the one I’ve been going to lately, this is why I tend to have so many bracelets, because I like variety and I tend to get bored fast.
Also this bracelet has some of my favorite silver charms on it like the Sparkling Star, Angel’s Feathers, Chat and Origami.
Bead Index: Sprit Light, White Stripes, Moroccan Cushion, Chat, Smiling Cylinders, White Diamond, Water, Angel’s Feathers, Mountain Crystal, Love Within, Mountain Crystal, Yarn Ball, Sparkling Stars, Faceted Milky Quartz, Victory, Origami, Autumn Splendor, Blizzard, and Scirocco.
Now that this bracelet is finished, I will go onto the next bracelet project, I’m not sure which one to work on since as of right now all of my Trollbeads bracelets are balanced and I would have to buy two at a time to keep it that way since I HATE having unbalanced unsymmetrical bracelets. Also I guess I should’ve picked a different post to officially inaugurate the start of Autumn, but I finished this particular bracelet so there you go. Perhaps when the weather starts to get chillier I’ll get inspired to wear something more Autumn-y, it’s still rather warm at the moment.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this post, I will continue to surf Instagram in order to get inspired! Until next time Happy Hunting!
beautiful! although I’m not that fond of muranos touching each other, so usually I put silver beads between them.
I have completed one bracelet, then got a second one, then decided that I needed a theme instead of randomly buy beads. My plan needs me to get a third bracelet, and one of them will be a rainbow bracelet. My rainbow currently goes from green to purple, so I need some red, orange and yellow š
have you tried going up one size?
my Pandora size is 7.5, but that was too small with Trolls, so I changed the chain to get a 7.9 Trollbeads
Thanks! You know me neither but when I look at other peoples bracelets most of them have muranos touching! I’ve seen some where they have three muranos at time with only one small silver separating them, I think I kind of like it and plan to eventually make one like that.
It’s very addicting isn’t it? I only planned on one Trollbeads bracelet and now I’m already planning on the fifth or sixth bracelet!
I forgot all about the sizes lol! I guess I could go up a size, maybe I should visit my Trollbeads store and have them let me try a bigger bracelet with all my beads on it to see how it fits, thanks for the suggestion and the comment š
I’m kind of obsessed with symetry and order, so I always try to have the same number of silver beads between muranos š
right now, my bracelet has a 2-silver-1-colored-bead pattern. I would never wear your bracelet as-is because of the silver beads between the glass go from none to 3, that would drive me crazy lol
LOL yeah but I still have a pattern going! I go from one silver to two, then three. I do have an extra glass bead on each end but that’s only because I had one extra glass bead so I figured I’d buy another one and stick them on the ends. If I took off the two extra glass beads on the ends it would probably be perfect but then I’d have two extra white beads LOL. If it didn’t have a pattern and was random I totally would not wear the bracelet.
