Today I’ll be showcasing my latest Trollbeads haul and also reviewing the new Trollbeads Day charm for 2015, which if you haven’t heard by now is a beautiful faceted glass bead with a swirl of greens, yellow, lilac, white, black and blue. Below I will post a link of my unboxing video so you can check out my haul. I won’t be discussing the other beads since they are old news, but I’m extremely happy to finally be able to grow my Trollbeads collection a little. I just love removing the beads from my wishlist onto my online Trollbeads Jewelry Box!

 

First Impression:

I got my first impression from the sneak peak shot that Trollbeads sent out along with their announcement of Trollbeads Day:

 

So I figured it was faceted and green! Was I surprised when I saw the other colors on the bead. It truly does live up to it’s description for their website:

Let your spirit feel the break of dawn. Seek a moment of harmony and find inner peace. The forest quietly comes to life and the soft light breaks in the tree tops. The rays find their way to the forest floor which is slowly getting warmer. Life begins to trickle. Now it is dawn in the forest where all the trolls live.

Review:

This bead has all the colors of nature, of a forest coming to life like the description states. The green for the trees, the black, purple and yellow for the dawn and the sun starting to rise and the white and blue for the sky or streams of water. It is very interesting to rotate the bead and see how the colors swirl around, it has movement which is why I think this bead has been such a huge success. The faceted glass on top just adds to the movement and it gives the bead  further depth. I’ve also heard that this bead has a lot of variety, though I was expecting the variety to be in the line of the Moonlight Bubbles or the Azure Bubbles, but all of the pictures I’ve seen look pretty consistent.

 

Like I stated in my video, I really don’t have a place for this bead anywhere in my current bracelets, but that just means that I’ll have to start a new bracelet 😉

In Conclusion:

I have whined in the past about how unlucky I am that I don’t have a Trollbeads dealer near me, (my nearest one is about 45 minutes away), so I should consider myself lucky that even at 45 minutes away, that’s better than two hours or no dealer at all. Because of this advantage I can offer you my take on this bead, and also a couple more live shots, although I am sorry I didn’t feature this bead in a bracelet. Like I’ve said, my Trollbeads collection is still in it’s infancy and it’s going to take me awhile to catch up, hence my latest haul! I’m so happy I got the beads I got, now it’s time to go figure out how many more beads I need to finish my bracelets, or start new ones. This charm is a murano glass charm with a sterling silver core, and retails for $56.
