By now all of you have seen the new 2015 Spring release from X Jewellery, here now are my thoughts on the collection.

I have to say I’m loving the teal links! I only have the ocean blue ones right now, and I’m getting ready to get the red links soon before they get discontinued.  However I have mixed feelings about the “pastoral” type theme. It’s actually very fitting for spring, as it reminds me of country living, however how popular will this collection be?

 

 

It’s cute in itself, but I think it will be hard to find a spot for the little lamb and piggy. Everyone is saying the bird will be a good fit for Twitter fans, but to me personally I don’t love Twitter that much to buy something to represent it on my bracelet.

 

 

As for the lamb, I guess if it’s someone’s pet name, that would be very fitting, but I sincerely doubt the piggy will find a home anywhere, unless you choose to use it as part of the Chinese Zodiac, or if you happen to have a pet pot bellied pig (try saying that five times fast!)

Also even though I love the color teal, wouldn’t a nice bright or emerald green been a better fit for spring? I like to think of fresh, green grass and plant tendrils when spring arrives, perhaps the teal would’ve been better saved for summer?
