What I’m Wearing: Trollbeads Mother’s Rose and Marry Me.

So today brings a special post, as if you have watched my latest unboxing video, you will have seen that my dear husband surprised me with two goodies, one that he picked out, and the second that was on my wishlist but I thought I had missed out on. My Twitter friends may be able to attest that I was just talking about this last week, and how I missed out on the Mother’s Rose bead because of timing issues, either I was out of funds, or my nearest TB dealer ran out, for whatever reason I was unable to obtain this particular charm. Enter my knight in shining armor, he happened to stop by and scooped up the very last one!!

So now of course I’m wearing this beauty on my bangle until I can eventually grow my Trollbeads collection and see where it will eventually live. I really wish I had two now so I can better play with it on a bracelet, but I am extremely happy to at least have the one.

And of course this is how I’m wearing it:

I have a friend who kept going on and on about how beautiful this bead was and she wasn’t kidding, it is truly lovely.

Once again Trollbeads manages to impress, this bead is amazing. It really looks like tiny roses encased in glass. Also I’ve taken one glass bead making class so I know the very basics of how to make glass beads, and I have to say, this is crazy, I have no idea how they made the flowers look so real, it’s incredible!

And now for my second charm, the Marry Me charm. Now this wasn’t on my wishlist, but I still cherish it because my husband bought it for me. I’ve always liked it, but I figured since I’ve been married for awhile now, that it wasn’t something I needed. Now that I have it, I’m very tempted to start a marriage themed bracelet, which I think would be hard to do as I don’t think Trollbeads is very theme friendly. That’s why I kind of just buy beads I like and just mash them all together in bracelets as long as they are balanced.

I think this bead is very delicate and well made. It is very dainty, and translates the feeling of love extremely well. It warms my heart every time I look at it, and the charm means more to me because it was gift, rather than something I bought for myself.

For now I don’t think I have a place for the Marry Me bead but that just means I need to add more beads to my collection or maybe even start a new bracelet ;).

Below I leave you with a link to my unboxing video in case you haven’t seen it yet. Please excuse my sloppy filming, I was so excited to open my gift that I didn’t realize the camera was having trouble focusing.
