Today I will be reviewing one of the charms that I purchased from the March free bracelet promo, that I think is also very fitting for the upcoming Mother’s Day holiday. It’s the two toned Spread the Love charm, and it features a small gold heart inside a larger silver one.
First Impression:
When I first saw the charm I thought it was a recycled version of the Open Your Heart charm, (since Pandora is beginning to get the reputation of just recycling older designs) only two toned. Upon closer inspection I saw that I was wrong:
The charm has what I would call four “sides” to it, you can see for yourself in the pictures above.
Review:
Although there are similarities, there are completely different charms. The Spread the Love charm has a golden heart inside a silver heart, however the gold heart is placed in a bit of a perpendicular line to the silver heart which I think adds a bit of dimension to this charm. The charm retails for $75, which isn’t too bad considering the charm has a good deal of gold.
I’ve never correlated hearts with Mother’s Day, however in the last couple of years the marketing for this holiday has contained a lot of heart shaped themes, almost to compete with Valentine’s Day. The funny thing is, this charm was part of the Holiday 2014 collection which is strange to say the least.
In Conclusion:
I like all things hearts for the most part, so this charm was perfect for me as I’m working on an all heart themed bracelet. When it first came out, I made it my mission to get my hands on it, and when the March promo rolled in it was the perfect opportunity to pick it up. If you would like to see the unboxing for this charm, check it out at my YouTube channel under the Pandora Haul Unboxing March 2015 video or check it out down below.
I hope you’ve liked this review, this charm is lovely and I like it because it goes with the rest of my other two toned heart charms. How do you plan on spending Mother’s Day? Will this charm be a part of your gift giving or will you be giving a more traditional Mother’s Day charm?
