UPDATED 7/20/15- Again Pandora added a couple more items to their retired list, and at this point I can say that these charms are all officially retired now as this information comes a I happened to go into my local Pandora store in order to see if I could change around one of my bracelets and I realized the staff was pulling everything in order to send the jewelry back to Pandora HQ. It’s a real shame too, good thing I went in today! I am also shocked as apparently there was no warning about the new charms that were added to the retirement list, one of them being the Christmas Elves and the Pave Christmas tree as those charms were only released last year or eight months ago to be more specific. On the list as well is the Essence Curiosity charm. If any of these were on your wish list I suggest you go to your nearest Pandora ASAP.  Below will be a list of the additions:

Hello! Today’s post comes on the heels of what I hear tell will be the next wave of retirement. Now it’s not official yet, these charms, rings, necklaces and earrings are on the discontinued list, which means that they will no longer be produced. This means that if a store is out of a charm and it’s on this list, it will not be able to be ordered. This is the first step in the retirement process.  Here is a gallery of the discontinued items:

Now I’m not sure why only these MLB charms are being discontinued, it could be that I don’t have the complete list, or that it’s only a sample and they are discontinuing all of them. Once I know more I will update this post. Also I don’t know why Pandora is discontinuing the MLB licensed charms, again not sure if they are just editing down, or if they lost the MLB license.

Along with these charms, there are also some bracelets and necklaces leaving the collection:

 

It would be good to note that both the lobster clasp and oxi necklaces in all sizes are being discontinued.

It’s a real shame to see some of these charms go, the sunshine charm is a real cutie, good thing I already have it!

This is the most up to date information that I have, I made sure to include the newest discontinued charms at the beginning of the galleries and omitted the ones that have already officially been retired. There may be a couple of charms that I missed because at this point it’s a bit hard to tell which charms have been officially retired, and which ones are just discontinued, most stores have already sold through some of their discontinued charms which makes them unofficially retired. Again if the information changes in any way, I will update this post. I know some of these pieces are still available in most stores, if I were you, I would pick up the ones on my wish list ASAP before it’s too late, because once they are gone, they will be hard to find! I will post the second part of this list at a later date, it will contain rings, earrings, and pendants, until then Happy Hunting!
