Today I will be talking about my Trollbeads bangle, which I have hardly worn because I’ve always found it a bit uncomfortable, until now.  I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve lost a little bit of weight, or because I’ve bent it every so slightly in order to accomodate my wrist, but all of a sudden it’s bearable to wear now!

When I first ordered the bangle, I went by the measurements online on the main Trollbeads website. Going against my better judgement, I ordered the small. When it arrived, I tried it on and it seemed very big on my wrist to the point where if I shook my hand hard enough it would fall off and I could put about three or four fingers through the top part of it. I thought then with a couple of beads on it, this would stop happening, and even with three beads it still felt too big for my wrist. So I exchanged it for an extra small, which then felt a bit tight, and I struggled to get it on. To this day I still don’t know if I made a mistake in not keeping the small bangle.

Long story short, I hardly ever wore the bangle because of the weird way it felt on my wrist. I guess after so many tries of putting it on and off and on and off, either I’ve gotten used to it, or it’s been molded to my wrist to the point now where it doesn’t feel weird anymore.  Has this happened to anyone else?

Now I’m wearing it a lot more and I’m happy with it! This is how I’m wearing it right now:

 

I feel like maybe I could wear a couple more beads on it before it’s way too tight, however I have seen some beautiful combos where I’ve seen up to five or more on the bangle, and this is what makes me regret not keeping the small bangle. Maybe one day I’ll buy another one again, but for now I’m content with this one. This is where my homeless beads go, because I have not collected enough of the color group in order to make a whole bracelet yet. Right now I’m really in love with the blue:
