FYI: Disney Spring 2015 Muranos

disney_muranosToday’s post brings some news on the new Disney spring muranos. I heard through the grapevine that Pandora did not want to hugely diffuse the information that their new Disney muranos glow in the dark. I am not sure why, perhaps they were concerned that the beads would not glow? Pandora has been having several manufacturing issues in the recent past, I remember their first issue was with the original Essence balance bead. They had to retire it because of production issues with the moonstone. Then they pulled the pavé rings Forever and Always because the stones kept falling out, they also pulled the rose gold pendant/dangle charms because of a labeling issue (apparently the hallmark was wrong and it didn’t state the correct metal purity), and finally it culminates with the Fascinating Aventurescent murano, which many Pandora fans were left wanting as they bead was pulled almost immediately, once again due to production issues.

I am glad to report though that there are no issues with the new Disney muranos, as I had the chance to test them out firsthand and they do indeed glow. Some more than others, and I have yet to figure out if it’s because of the color of the muranos, or the amount of glow in the dark material applied into the beads. The only caveat is that they all glow in the same green color. Different than their Trollbeads cousins, the muranos only glow in the green we are all familiar with, it doesn’t matter that the murano is yellow, or red, or blue, they will all glow green when exposed to light. If after further research I find that I am incorrect and the colors do vary, I will update this post with the correct information.

Will you be splurging on these muranos tomorrow when the free bracelet promo officially begins?
