For today’s post I will finally be posting part of the discontinued list for 2017. Unfortunately it will not be complete as Pandora tends to add to this list on a whim so please check back once in awhile to see what’s been added.
So this list has actually been out for awhile now and for some reason Pandora is being a bit sneaky about it. Instead of just making a discontinued list, they have decided to make two “Last Call” trays showcasing all of the charms that will be getting discontinued. This way stores can sell through their stock first before the charms get returned. Update: The last call trays are gone. Be warned however that once a charm is sold out, the store will simply replace that sold out charm with another charm that has been added to the list, so the tray is continuously being updated. I just want to remind everyone that a discontinued charm is not the same as a retired charm. Once a charm is discontinued, it is still available but it is no longer being produced, which means a store will not be able to order it, and once they sell out that’s it. A retired charm means that once a store receives the notice stating that a charm is officially retired, it means the store has hours, maybe a day or two at the most to pull all existing stock of the charm to be sent back to Pandora.
Having said all of this, if there is an item you see on this list I suggest you visit your nearest concept store or Jared’s and ask to see their “Last Call” tray to buy now before it’s too late, Update: The Last Call trays are no more, I think they have renamed them to something different, once I know I will update. I titled this post Retired Jewelry because eventually these items will be retired and for the sake of efficiency it will be easier to refer to only one page during the year versus making whole new posts with new retired items. I will also make a separate post for discontinued non-charm jewelry as well.
P.S. I apologize if there are some repeats from past lists, it seems that some of these have been on the discontinued list for awhile so I figured I would still stick them on this post just for continuance sake. ALSO just a heads up, it’s not on this list yet but it looks like the smallest floating locket will not be making a comeback, after the recall I assumed Pandora would be fixing the issue and re-issuing it, looks like it’s gone for good.

Here now is the list of items that MAYBE discontinued. They have not officially been added to the discontinued list, however they are missing from the catalog you can leaf through in the physical stores. There was a printing error and some items were not included in the main catalog, so they added them back in in a supplemental packet. Within the supplemental packet there are items that are being retired mixed in with items that were supposedly not being retired, therein lays the confusion. So please shop with caution, I do not know for sure if these items are being retired, I am only posting this in case they are and that way you are all warned and can buy whatever you have on your wish list.
There’s actually not too much in here that I’m massively attached to, but I’m sad to see the adorable London Bus, and the London Guard charms go! I’m going to try and find the hot air balloon in the sales.
The Queen Bee is an absolute Pandora classic – it kind of signals the end of an era when pieces like that one are discontinued, doesn’t it?
yes and I’m sad about it, lots of classics are going. I also don’t understand why the London bus is going either, I hear it’s a popular seller, so I don’t understand why it’s leaving the collection. I remember when Pandora used to give their new charms at least a couple of years before retiring them, now it seems they are lucky to have six months before they are pulled.

Can $ 90 got 2015 LE Black Friday Music Globe, X’mas Stocking & Czech X’mas Tree last set for my friend from Tanger Outlet. I got X’mas Stocking $10 & two toned baby booty $25. Yesterday, I got 2016 LE Poinsettia free instead of LE Snowflakes bangle with $150 purchase, I don’t want bangle so didn’t go on Friday & Sat, wait until they sold out bangle, I am happy to get LE Poinsetta free. 2015 I got LE bangle & LE Black Friday Musical Globe both free, I seldom wear bangle so skip this year.
I have learned that although the pieces will no longer be at Pandora or Jared, they will eventually return to Rue La La or a Pandora Outlet. This way I can still get the items I want at a discounted price.
Agree! That is what I do, For the pieces that I unfortunately miss or I change my mind about, I go through Rue La La. I’ve only come across one Pandora outlet, and technically it was a Jared’s outlet, but since they carry Pandora it was almost the same thing. I have to say I saw so many retired pieces there, I could’ve gone nuts buying everything!

Hi, Thank you for the post. All of the charms in your “Maybe List” were discontinued here in Australia in January this year. So I’d say they’re the next to go in the States.
oh my! Well then it makes sense. I will update it the list as Pandora decided to roll it out. I’m not sure why they are doing that, what happened to the good old days when the retirements only happened twice a year!
Yes, I can see all of those being retired soon. You can find a lot of them on Rue lala. 😁
