Hello all! Sorry again for the lack of posts, again it’s been very hectic here while we’re getting our new house ready and well, I guess this is what my life is going to be like for the next couple of weeks!
Getting back to what’s important, I’ve heard through the grapevine that Pandora has issued a recall on the small floating lockets as they are not staying closed while on bracelets. I don’t know if this issue is present if worn as an actual pendant, but for now that is the news I have. The issue does not seem to affect the medium and large lockets, as the opening and closing mechanism differs from the small locket. The small locket opens like a traditional locket, while the medium and large locket snap closed but can not be opened unless the chain is removed. I would’ve done a review, but again I haven’t had the time.
If you purchased the small floating locket and want to return it, or you’ve already experienced it opening, I would recommend you call your local Pandora concept store first as each store is independently owned and operated. I did see that the official Pandora Facebook page responded to a visitors question about it, but again it’s better to call your local store.
If you purchased this lock, what do you think of the recall? Has yours opened unexpectedly? Will you be returning it?

Oh my! Thanks for the info! I was considering the small locket for my bracelet. Oh well! I have a lot on my wish list for the Winter Collection and since it will be released at the end of October, I need to prioritize!
Same here! There’s only a couple of pieces that have caught my eye for the Winter collection so this will just help me focus more on my wish list.

I have not had any problems with mine and the closure seems tight. But I have only worn it a couple of times. I noticed it has been removed from the Australian Pandora website & app (I had it saved to my jewellery and it has now vanished)
That’s good, maybe only wear it once in awhile then to guarantee that the charm stays nice?
I enquired at a Pandora store today (Australia) and they said there was a recall on the locket and they are offering an exchange credit for the purchase price. I will keep mine.
Don’t like locket idea just copycat of Chopard.
I only like Star murano glass in Winter collection, wait until spend $150 get X’mas oranment. I spend Can $250 with $400 promotion, got Ironic sets with I like reading, 2 Smooth Hearts and two tone Family roots dangle.

Yes, they recalled the fascinating avensturescent murano, and they recalled the Forever and Always rings (the eternity bands, one was curved if you remember? They also recalled the rose gold symbol dangles. Unless you are being sarcastic LOL

Oh no! I have my aunt buy me one from the US and it’s not arriving here in the Philippines until December. Is it maybe possible to have it exchanged at my local Pandora store even if it was bought from a New York branch?
You should be able to, that’s what they always say, that you can exchange anything between concept stores so it shoudn’t be a problem.
