What I’m Wearing: My First Pandora Gold Charm and Lenny and Eva

I hope you all had a great Valentine’s Day weekend! For today’s post I want to share with you what I received for Valentine’s Day, I decided against a video again as what I received was better in quality rather than quantity, (comment down below if you had rather seen a video). What I mean is I received a very special gift but it wasn’t a huge haul or anything like that, it was my first Pandora gold charm along with some Lenny and Eva pieces, because my husband knows me far too well!

So as you read in the title, this is my first gold charm from Pandora, I never buy myself gold as I figure I can always get more charms for the same amount I’m paying for one single gold charm but this being a gift I didn’t have a choice in the matter LOL.

I’ve been wanting this charm since it came out way back in the Fall of 2011, and as you all know this charm has been on the discontinued list for awhile. I started dropping hints to the hubby a couple of days before Valentine’s Day and I guess he listened, it cracks me up because he actually paid attention, I know all you wives and girlfriends out there know what I’m talking about right?

It’s funny, I’ve been wanting this charm for so long, and now that I have it, I have no idea where to put it! My star bracelet is pretty much full and this would completely throw off the symmetry I have going. I would need another star themed charm, maybe like the now retired gold Seeing Stars but I’m completely broke at the moment and cannot afford this bead right now. Or I could switch out the XL Golden Star and use this as my focal point but I like that I have an XL charm as a focal point.

I thought of putting it on an essence bracelet, I think that would be a nice way to wear it, however you all know how protective I am with my charms, if I wear it on my wrist it would have to be when I go out to dinner or something so the risk of it getting scuffed is minimal.

About a year ago I posted on my Instagram how I tried this charm with my also retired large Star Necklace and commented on how much I loved how it looked, so stacking this charm on top of the pendant is also another option.

And now I come to my Lenny and Eva V-day haul, again it’s rather small, but I guess I had complained enough to my husband about how I still needed to get cuffs for my Sentiments and again he listened:

He picked out some classics, a large black one, a brown one, and one that I would never have picked out for myself but that I absolutely love, a beautiful bright green one!

I also got a small sentiment with the statement of Luckiest, I guess he’s trying to give me a hint as well LOL

just so you know, I like blog posts with pictures way more than videos!

also, wow, that golden star is gorgeous! during last Pandora sale on rue lala, I finally took the plundge and order the oversized two-tone star that you have, and I’m really glad I did!

    • Yay! I love the two tone golden star!! It’s another one of my favorites, I like it so much I have two of them. How do you plan on wearing it?

Good to know about your preferences, I try to do a little of both so everyone is happy!

Pandora gold is a steal compared to Trollbeads…but I rarely wear pandora anymore, I find troll quality to be far superior, and I like that it’s a not mass produced made in China assembly line product.

Love your blog AND your videos!

    • THANKS!! XOXO. I agree with you, I got into European charm jewelry through Pandora, but have found that Trollbeads quality and design is far more superior. Trollbeads thinks out of the box unlike Pandora I think. I also agree with you about the gold, OMG Pandora is much more affordable!
