Latest Haul: Trollbeads Collectors Dream Sale 2015

Today I will be showcasing a couple of charms that I bought awhile ago, but because of the holidays and other posts taking priority, I wasn’t able to get around to until now. As you all know last year Trollbeads had their Collector’s Dream Sale, where they offered discounts on their upcoming retiring charms. I wasn’t going to participate but there were a couple of charms I had been wanting for awhile and nothing gets me going like the word RETIREMENT!

I went ahead and purchased the Blue Bubbles, Brew of the Moor, i luv u and the Shortcut beads. I didn’t bother with a video since I don’t think these beads are that great to showcase (let me know in the comments section below if you don’t agree and would rather have seen a video).

What I mean is they are not very showy beads, they are not limited edition or particularly gorgeous beads in order to appreciate them more via video mode. I do have to admit these were impulse buys and now I sort of regret buying the Blue Bubbles since I am very underwhelmed by it, perhaps I didn’t receive a good one? I saw pictures of this bead before ordering and that is what pushed me to buy it. I wish mine looked like the examples I saw online.

I guess this is just a prime example as to why I will most likely not purchase any glass beads online unless I can handpick it through photos. I also think I know where I will be using the silver beads and maybe even the Blue Bubbles. My next bracelet project will focus on more glass beads with only some silver dotted here and there, I think this is a more traditional look of a Trollbeads bracelet, I think I tend to use more silver than most Trollbeads collectors. Here is a small preview of what I am working on:

I hope you’ve enjoyed this haul as much as I did, I know I have an addiction to shopping, just can’t pass up a sale LOL, until next time Happy Hunting!

What do you think of Brew of the Moor? I’ve been curious about it for a while, but I’m not sure if I would really like it. I like abstract beads, but I’m not sure if it’s a bit too abstract for me 😀
