Today I will be reviewing the new large Sparkling Rose ring because it’s truly lovely and I hope to be able to add it to my collection soon. Apparently the smaller version of this ring is also called Sparkling Rose so I will simply call it the large one. I have to say this design isn’t original however it’s one that I’ve always liked. I happen to have a brooch in the same design that I like to wear a lot, so it would be nice to have a matching set.
First Impression:
As aforementioned I’ve seen the rose stylized like this before, it’s a pretty common design, however it doesn’t make it any less pretty. I do have to say, it’s not something traditional of Pandora to come up with. In the past their designs have been more abstract, now along with their pave trend, this is more contemporary in the line of cocktail or statement pieces.
Review:
I love this ring! I love anything blingy and sparkly! I love how large it is because my first love of jewelry came in the form of rings (Later it moved onto charm bracelets!) and I’ve always favored large statement pieces. It is surprisingly comfortable to wear and it is good to note that although somewhat large, it is only slightly raised in a dome shape, so it shouldn’t catch on anything.
I would be comfortable wearing this daily, although I would probably reserve it for a date night or a night out with the girls. What do you guys think?
Here it is compared to the smaller Sparkling Rose ring:
It’s a huge difference. I guess maybe the smaller one would be more fitting for young girls or even teenagers that don’t care for a lot of sparkle. Note the smaller ring isn’t encrusted with cubic zirconias like the larger ring.
In Conclusion:
This lovely ring retails for $140, and in my opinion it is more of a special occasion ring but if you’re like me you’re not going to wait for a special occasion to wear it ;), it’s fun and definitely a conversational piece. I can’t wait to get it, my wish list is getting way too long! Do you plan on buying this ring as well? As always I like to see what new acquisitions you’ve obtained or how creative you get with your bracelet designs, be sure to share with me by posting on my Facebook page or tagging me on Instagram.
